Squash Collective Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: November 1, 2025
Acceptance Clause: By checking the box labeled “I have read and agree to the Squash Collective Terms & Conditions” during registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms, including the Liability Waiver, Medical Authorization, Code of Conduct, Photo & Video Release, and Arbitration Agreement.
Part I — Plain-Language Summary
1. What We Do
Squash Collective LLC (Minnesota) offers squash and fitness instruction, league play, tournaments, exhibitions, and related community events.
2. Who Can Participate
Participants must be 18 or older, or have written parental consent.Minors must have a parent/guardian sign electronically.Parental supervision is required on court or in fitness areas when Squash Collective personnel are not present.
3. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for your own medical insurance and health status.Play and train safely; follow coach or staff instructions at all times.Respect others and facilities (see Code of Conduct below).
4. Risk and Waiver
Squash and fitness involve physical activity with inherent risks — injuries can occur. By joining, you voluntarily accept all such risks and release Squash Collective and its affiliates from liability for injuries or damages.
5. Medical Emergencies
If you are injured or ill during an activity, you authorize Squash Collective staff to seek emergency medical care on your behalf.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds are available if you cancel at least 24 hours before a scheduled session or before a program starts. No refunds once the program begins, except for documentedc medical reasons.
7. Photo & Video Use
Adult participants are opt-out by default. Minors are opt-in with explicit parental consent. Media may be used perpetually for promotional, educational, or informational purposes.
8. Code of Conduct
All participants must: Treat others with respect and inclusivity. Avoid harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behavior. Wear proper attire and eye protection. Follow facility rules and maintain cleanliness. Avoid alcohol or substances that impair performance.
9. Disputes
Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under Minnesota law. This means you waive your right to sue in court (except small claims).

Part II — Full Legal Text
1. Agreement Overview
This Agreement (“Terms & Conditions”) is entered into between Squash Collective LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company (“Squash Collective,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), and the participant (“you,” “your”). These Terms govern participation in any activity, event, lesson, or program conducted or sponsored by Squash Collective.
By electronically consenting, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to be bound by these Terms.
2. Participation and Eligibility
Participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian electronically sign on their behalf.If no Squash Collective personnel are present, parents must supervise minors on court or in fitness areas.
3. Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver
You understand that squash and fitness activities involve risks including, but not limited to, slips, falls, collisions, eye injuries, overexertion, and other bodily harm. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby waive, release, and discharge Squash Collective LLC, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and venue hosts (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action arising out of participation, including negligence of the Released Parties.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any loss or damage resulting from your actions, including property damage or injury to others.
You confirm that you carry your own medical insurance and understand that Squash Collective’s insurance does not cover participant injuries.
This waiver is continuous and remains in effect for all current and future participation until revoked in writing.
4. Medical Authorization
You authorize Squash Collective personnel to obtain or provide emergency medical treatment on your behalf, including transport to a medical facility, and you accept financial responsibility for all related costs.
5. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Refunds will be granted if: Cancellation occurs at least 24 hours before a scheduled session, orCancellation occurs before the start date of a program or event.
Once a program has begun, no refunds will be issued except for documented medical reasons. Credits or rescheduling may be offered at Squash Collective’s discretion for facility closures or emergencies.
6. Code of Conduct
You agree to:Conduct yourself respectfully toward all participants, staff, and facilities. Refrain from harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or violence. Wear proper athletic attire and required protective eyewear. Use equipment and facilities responsibly and safely. Abstain from alcohol, drugs, or substances that impair play. Follow all posted or communicated rules and instructions. Accept that Squash Collective may suspend or terminate participation for violations.
7. Photo and Video Release
You grant Squash Collective LLC a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, and distribute photos, videos, or recordings of your participation for promotional, educational, or informational purposes in any media. Adult participants are opt-out by written request to Squash Collective. Minors require explicit parental opt-in consent before inclusion. No compensation will be provided for such use.
8. Privacy Notice
Personal data collected through registration or participation is subject to the Squash Collective Privacy Policy, available on our website. By agreeing to these Terms, you consent to our data collection and use practices as described therein.
9. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
All disputes or claims arising under these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration in the State of Minnesota, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Each party shall bear its own costs and attorneys’ fees unless otherwise provided by law.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict of law principles.
10. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Squash Collective and supersede any prior oral or written agreements regarding participation.
